About

African feminism is an online platform created to amplify African feminists’ contributions to global feminist discourse. Through the publication of posts on African feminist thought and by spotlighting women’s rights activists and organisations operating in Africa, we aim to raise awareness on the conversations and projects taking place on the continent. Additionally, we aim to address the misrepresentation and underrepresentation of African women and African feminism by bringing to light diverse voices on the continent.
